Cookie Policy — Lula Bet

Which we use

We rely on a small set of cookies. A technical cookie remembers whether you have dismissed the age-gate banner, so it does not reappear on every page. A preference cookie stores your choice on the cookie consent banner itself. If you accept analytics, a pseudonymous visitor cookie from our traffic counter is added, with no personal information inside — just a random identifier so one person browsing five pages is not counted as five people. We do not run advertising or retargeting cookies on this site.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small piece of text your browser stores on your device when a site asks it to. On the next visit, the browser sends the cookie back and the site can recognise the device. Cookies cannot read other files on your computer, they cannot run code, and they cannot by themselves identify you by name. They are a mundane building block of the modern web rather than something magical or dangerous — but they do deserve a clear disclosure, which is why this policy exists.

Retention

The age-gate and consent cookies live for twelve months, so you are not asked the same question every week. The analytics cookie expires after two years in line with the counter's own schedule. You can clear all cookies for this site at any time from your browser settings; next time you visit, the banners will reappear and you can set your preferences again. Blocking cookies in your browser does not break the site — it simply means some choices will be forgotten between visits.

Controlling cookies works the same way across every modern browser. In Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari the Settings menu has a Privacy section where cookies for a specific domain can be cleared, blocked outright, or allowed on a case-by-case basis. Mobile browsers put the same controls under Settings. If you use a privacy-focused browser such as Brave or a tracker-blocking extension, those tools will often strip our analytics cookie before it even reaches your device; the site keeps working as expected. For readers in the European Union covered by the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR, we respect the Do Not Track header where the browser sends one, and the consent banner holds the final say on whether analytics is loaded at all.

If we ever change the cookies we set or the third parties we rely on, the change will appear here on this page and the consent banner will refresh so your choice is captured against the new setup rather than carrying over blindly from the old one.
